Mercy House contracted with the School of Social Ecology’s Livable Cities Lab. Under the direction of Director Tita, the research was conducted by a team of UCI Master’s of Public Policy students (https://mpp.soceco.uci.edu/) who demonstrated the importance of existing networks when engaging faith-based organization. And that the success of the collaboration often depends upon early partnerships with the community members and stakeholders.
